WILDREN ARE FAE CREATURES WITH THE PURPOSE OF WATCHING OVER ELEMENTAL MAGIC. They inhabit a planet KNOWN only AS THE GARDEN WORLD.

 

EVERY WILDREN IS NATURALLY ATTUNED TO A CERTAIN ELEMENT OF NATURE OR MAGIC; THEIR STRONGEST ATTUNEMENT IS DICTATED BY THE ELEMENT THEY ARE MOST POWERFULLY DRAWN TO IN THEIR FORMATIVE YEARS.

 

IT IS SAID THAT WILDREN ARE DESCENDANTS OF humanoids THAT USED shApeshifting MAGIC TO FIGHT BACK ANCIENT EVILS THOUSANDS OF YEARS AGO AND THAT IT WAS SPREAD AS A MAGICAL CURSE RESULTING FROM OVERUSE OF SUCH POWERS.

WILDren resemble adlets from our own folklore. from the hips down, they have fur-covered, digitigrade legs and long, magnificent tails. Another iconic feature is the mane around the neck and shoulders. Because they are magical creatures, their colours can vary greatly, but their fur isn't often very highly saturated and is more commonly earth-toned.

 

ABOUT
Attunement

An attunement is the connection a Wildren has to an element of nature. Some elements are very specific while others are more general. Even some synthetic elements have been able to create attunements with Wildren.

Examples include: fire, starlight, animals, rain, gemstones and, very rarely, hollow.

 

Hollow is a curse of entropy. It seeks to turn all worlds into dust. Wildren attuned to hollow cannot spread it, but they can learn this power. (If they wish to be exiled)

 

An object touched by the hollow will turn to dust. The older it is, the longer it will take. Wildren scholars work tirelessly to find a way to reverse this.

 

Locations where the hollow has taken over can develop rips in space-time called 'the nothing.'

 

The Garden World

The garden world is found in the lenticular galaxy otherworld-11e. It is a large planet said in lore to be a living nature titan.
